gota 2004 Civic SI(K20A3). got in the car last night after church, pulled out the lot and went to take off, ... car revd fine to 4k then it startd acting like it was bouncing rev limiter.. shift to next gear, its fine til 4k then it starts jumping again and wront go past that point. clutch in and tried reving and its doing the same thing. .. got fuel from same place as always never had a probelm... any ideas?

 

possible ecu needs reprogram. is the oil and filter clean, and oil pressure up as it should be.

 

i have had the exact problem with my '03 civic ex vtech, what would getting the ecu reprogramed intale or cost?
