Default 15,000 mile tune up

I was just wondering if anyone knew if its best to get your 15,000 mile tune up at a honda dealership or if other car shops are just as good???

Default RE: 15,000 mile tune up

Aloha: will tell you my experience with 2 civics, 98 purchased new, 1st oil and filter done at dealer, free. thereafter all done at Jiffy lube except 30k and 60k done at dealer. Car now has 95k runs great, no problem. 02 civic from date of purchase taken care by dealer to 100k. Cost was high, but in 2 1/2 years put on 75k. car had 100k warranty, and runs fantastic, not a problem. Honda's are built good. I took to the dealer due to a/c filters change, warranty, and extra care given. I did my own brakes, plugs, and timing belt, airfilter etc. Save money go to a good place who cares about your car.
