I start the car when it is cold it runs for about 4-5 min and then dies try and try to restart it nothing wait 10 min and it restarts fine the rest of the day no matter how cold it is out. next day same thing what the heck. some one help me i am so puzzled

 

Welcome to the forum,Well it could be several things,fuel filter,fuel pump,plugs ,wires,water in the system.I would first start with the fuel filter,then put a bottle of Seafoam in the tank, that will clean injectors and dry up any water. A tune up would be next.Good luck,Bobby

 

In the winter the oil gets pretty thick as well....taking your car out on a long-ish trip every week may help quite a bit with the problem too.

 

Good point,a lighter oil in the winter is the rule.
