Ok I didn't rightly know where to post this but I am having trouble finding where to buy a sunroof for my 1995 honda civic ex coupe.
I am not inclined what so ever with cars with the exception that I can drive XD
I was driving down the high way and the car started shaking from mid section up and then the sun roof literally ripped off of the car!!
Now here lies my problem, from what I have heard this make/model of car discontinued every thing (especially the sunroof) so trying to find it is beggining to be a pain. The previous owner attached the glass pain to the frame with some kind of tar (which didn't look pro at all -_-) I know all I have to do is unscrew four bolts and get the glass and apparently the frame, so I don't use tar XD, and bolt it back in.

So here lies my questions:
1. Where to purchase these parts? I'm in high school with minimal funds.
2. Is that all I should have to do to fix it?

Thank you, I have been browsing ebay and looked briefly over craigslist but I was told by my step dad that it has to be exactly a 1995 honda civic ex coupe sunroof cus if its any other year or type (hatchback) that it wouldnt be the right dimensions and it wouldn't have the right hardware compatibility, to put it briefly. Is this true?

 

i don't have personal experience with older civics but honda always recycles parts my 2004 is interchangeable with all 2001-2005 civics. so im certain that the part you need was on multiple years. the best way to know is by looking up the part number if they match then there identical and can be used. from what i can see the 95 hatch has the same part number as the 95EX also the same as 92SI 93EX 94EX etc etc. do the research look it up yourself.
