My cr-v starts up with no problem. It started off being once in a blue moon a few months ago. Only happening about the same distance from starting point. Not every trip though. Now it's progressively worse, powering down on the freeway etc... It always is accompanied with violent backfiring... It would power way down, (30mph on freeway) but run normal after the episode. Now it will die completely. I can still get it to start after 5-10 minutes. Whil it's not starting, it cranks but nothing when I step on the gas. I have also heard a moan sound or like steady one toned bellow ...lol. please help!!! I was thinking fuel pump but I never have initial start issues!!!
