Default 2007 CRV cranks but won’t start when warmed up

I have a 2007 Honda CRV that cranks but will not start “most” of the time when warmed up. This problem first started when my wife and I were out and about and pulled into a gas station to grab some gas about a month ago. When I tried to start the car after fueling, it cranked over with full power but would not start. I had it towed to a shop. Since it was a Sunday, it sat overnight. When the mechanic went out to start it the next morning, it started without even a hiccup. He claims he searched the car over from bumper to bumper and found nothing. That diagnosis costed me $120. The rig started flawlessly until 2 days ago. I went to the store and when I came back out about 10 minutes later, it started but then quickly puttered out after about 5 seconds. I went back the next morning and it started right up with no problem. It did the same thing in my driveway yesterday, but this morning it started right up. The problem is that it doesn’t have this problem 100% of the time. It’s very unpredictable. I am really stumped so any help would be greatly appreciated!!
