i have a 99 civic hx with 1.6 liter motor and i have noticed the last couple day a gas smell coming from the engine compartment i took a look and i can see the gas leaking down the studs the hold the fuel rail in place my question i guess is has this ever hapened to anyone or any ideas what may be causing this o-rings maybe? there is no gas spraying out anywhere but a small puddle does form on the intake manifold by were the studs screw in any help would be great thanks

 

check your fuel rail to see if there is any chafting to cause a hole or crack for the fuel to leak.
