1999 Honda motor swap to a JDM
Hi all. I am at the good end of a motor swap. (I hope) I bought a JDM Honda with the knock sensor. I'm hoping it's the hi compression one. I was told it was when I purchased it.
My issue now is that my wiring harness, as it seams there is more receptacles for the wire harness than the JDM engine has. Also is there a trick to laying that thing out so its memory" wil kinda show ya where it goes.
I have found out the hard way that the A/C compressor bracket and power steering pump are different, so I'm using the originals. Any help would be awesome.

Yes and no
I'm in the middle of my swap. Here's what I've found out with mine...
1. The distributor that came on the JDM has a different plug on it than the original.
2. The power steering pulley is bigger on the JDM engine, so the belt don't work. I had to use my original.
3. I'm stumped with the wiring harness currently, it seams that there are more places on the original motor (B20Z)
4. I had to change the oil pump on the JDM motor as it didn't have a CPS on it.
Hope this helps.
