I have a 05' Accord V6 with 109k. Just wondering about the shifting in the transmission. It feels as if it shifts a little hard sometimes and when I slow down I can feel every gear it downshifts into. Is this a normal thing or am I having issues that I need to address? I have not had the vehicle very long and I don't believe the transmission has been flushed.

try having the fluid changed or flush the transmission out, then recheck. Do not use any other fluid except Honda Trans fluid.

 

I have had similar issues with my 2004 accord ex v6. It is 109,000 and I notice slips, and noticeable downshifting. I have had the transmission fluid flushed, but this still occurs. I noticed Consumer Reports gave the Accord a bad rating on the transmission for this model....how long should I expect the transmission to last??
