Question 2005 Civic temperature high after trip

Hello guys,

I have a Honda Civic 3D 2005 model, and for about 8 months now I'm facing a problem that no mechanics have been able to answer yet, so I'm turning to you! Car works normally, but after making a trip (only on a highway and at least for 30 or more minutes) once I stop the car the temperature rises to almost maximum. It seems that it stays there for 10-15 minutes if I dont power off the engine, while trying to cool it. Temperature drops and rises all the time, until finally at some point it stabilises to where it usually works. This only happens if I make a trip on highway speed (90-130 km/h). I have tried using the car in the city for 3-5 hours straight to troubleshoot this and it never happens. All the mechanics I've been to , have powered on the engine of the car and let it work for hours, without it resulting in high temperature.

Any suggestions?

P.S. The car has completed every service as per instructions from honda manual.
