Default 2010 Brake problem

Hi Just purchased a 2010 Honda CRV with 120K, runs great, however my brake lights quit working, no problem put in new ones, didn't help, looked for a fuse but could not find one for the brake lights. would anyone have any idea as what to check, I am not a very good mech. but I can do a few things, Thanks

welcome to the forum. there may be a switch on the brake pedal shaft area. need to craw under steering column and look up.

Try checking your Fuse 12 Under/hood 15amp before checking the brake switch

If you have a multimeter, you can also check for voltage at the fuse (top of the fuse generally has a probe spot) and also at the taillight plug(s). If both are out, I'd suspect a switch in the system. Start at the pedal box and go from there.

Most likely the switch at the pedal.
