I took my trusty 2013 Honda Fit in for it's 2013 Honda Fit 105k service and the service rep told me that on addition to the timing belt being changed as er the manual, I needed to replace the timing chain and the pump as well, for thousands of dollars.

Any thoughts on this?

 

If you have a timing belt you do not have a chain and visa versa. Chains are not a maintenance thing.
