Question 89 Accord trouble

I have a 1989 Accord LXI that was running great, then the solenoid went bad..I replaced the starter..when I turned the key on the tachometer pegged and it turned over like it was 70 to 90 degrees advanced..unplugging the spark plugs & it turns over fine..centrifigal advance, vacuum advance & vacuum retard are working fine..I replaced the coil & ignitor but they did nothing..I even got another new starter but that did NOTHING...could this be distributor trouble...the car has 291K but like I said it was running great...any help would be greatly appreciated
