Default 91 accord running on 2

I have a puzzlement... I bought a 91 accord non-running. It had a timing belt replaced by one of the Three Stooges. He said it made it halfway down the block B4 it died.. then I came along and bought it. I ripped the head off and replaced all the exhaust valves (2 burnt 1 bent) got it back in time with a new belt... NOW... it is only is running on 2 cylinders AND, it runs WORSE if I connect the other 2 wires. The car is OBD1 with NO CEL. Any body got an idea???

welcome to the forum. take a compression check to see if all the cylinders have compression. check your timing make sure its not 180 degrees out. or wires crossed.

compression is OK across the board. as for the wiring I will double check it for the third time. UPDATE.... the pic I used for the wiring shows #1 wire 90 degrees off (as in relation to both the coil on the cap and the coil location to the head) I played along with wires and I think I got it hitting on all 4. I may have just been using the wrong wiring pic ??? BIG THANKS for all.

Hey Bucwheat, Thanks for the reply, strong spark to all. I thin I may have it running now. My kid has got me running a fleet of Honda's (mostly Accords) I love them. They may have their own unique problems, but parts are cheap, they are FUN to drive, get good milage, and run FOREVER. Who could ask for more!!!
