Angry 95 Honda Accord w/ 4 cyl

Hi there, new to the forum and needing a little help.

I recently purchased a 95 honda accord (not sure how long it was sitting up but the tires weren't dry rotted and the grass wasnt that tall around it) from the local wrecker service. I already have a 98 and an 01 that i do routine maintenance on by myself.

The car had been sitting up for awhile but started right up and ran decently well the only visible problem was the vtec solenoid was leaking oil and the key sometimes gets stuck in the ignition. I drove the car home and it rode fine. Parked it in the dead end of my street and proceeded to switch the vtec solenoid gasket with the one on my 01 accord (I called the honda dealership and they were the same). I also drained the oil and jacked it up to change the tires. After I put my new oil in I went to start it and it was out of gas. walked down the street and borrowed a gas tank from my neighbor and put about 4 gallons in. tried to start it still acted as if it was running out of gas. Today i changed the spark plugs, wires, rotor, and distributor cap and while i was trying to start it sprayed some starter fluid in the intake. the car started but i basically had to hold the pedal to the floor to keep it running. was shaking and making some odd noises would hardly go up to 3 thousand rpms. I'm assuming its a fuel delivery problem and i'm intending on putting more gas, changing the fuel filter, and maybe pulling off the fuel rail and swapping my injectors tomorrow when i get off of school but i just figured id post here for any opinions

Have the Chilton books and im no mechanic but i learn as i go

gas evaporates aslo when you store a car for more then 2-3 months you fill the gas tank and add fuel stabilizer so 1. the gas doesn't turn into shallack and 2 the tank doesn't rust im guessing your fuel system is clogged with gunk. you mite have to replace the fuel pump and or fuel filter also drop the tank and clean it and maybe clean and or replace injectors and completely flush the system. you mite get lucky and only need a new filter but i would drop the tank.just because there was no weeds growing on it doesn't mean it didn't sit in some guys yard for years before they towed it to the car yard.

Do you happen to know if the 2001 and the 1995 would have the same gas tank?
