Gotta an accord that will start but you gotta hold the key after she starts the key switch is not busted and the ignition switch seems to test ok with a meter.. any ideas?

 

98 accord ignition switch ok went out and tested it again I can get contuinity if I play with the key a little but not in the manufacturers key settings am guessing the switch? (where the key is on the steering column all the slots line up and it is not sloppy)..(battery off just testing key through the harness / fusebox)..

 

The switch sounds like a good bet!

98 accord Bought a new ignition switch plugged in and nothing..unplugged it and tested it while still in the key checked out fine .like it is supposed to tried several times tighened up the terminals on the switch still nothing I have juice the horn and headlight work no wipers no dash no start to me this baby should just plug and play it is a carbon copy of the old one like i said i bench tested it with the key..am at a loss ..did I miss somthing..oh yeah there was a thunderstorm today but the batt was not hooked up..rare for oregon ..any help would be cool ...

 

98 accord am suspecting the o2 sensor is bad but did somes test and am apt to think otherwise all test prove well except the ground side of the primary harness shows only .2 volts key on or off running or not I should have battery voltage as am jumpping right off the battery any Ideas J

 

I would think about taking it to an Auto electric shop.

no ground on 2.3 02 sensor heater bank 1 heater 1. ..I had the sensor out as well as 2 others they dont heat up...p.s. this is a new sensor
tested through the pins..any ideas short of taking it to someone else who will do the same thing as me?

 

p.s. am only getting 4 volts though the connector from batt to ground key on or off.. on the p.c side
