AC not working tech thinks its the control panel??

Default AC not working tech thinks its the control panel??
In My2004 Honda Accord AC stopped working abruptly. & my radio did but came back on. took car to honda which says it I need to replace the ECM or maybe the climate control panel the car has navigation anyone had this issue any feed back will be helpful not knowing is going to very expensive trying multiple ideas
