i have a 95 integra with approx 85xxx miles on engine.....151xxx on chasis....car does need new motor mounts but my question is why would the car jump around from 1 grand to 2 grand while in an idle... brakes arent pressed and its just sitting there idling crazy (also on start up it revs to 2500) ive checked the iac and my check engine light isnt even on due to the iac so i dont know wat else to check......would it have anything to due with having intake and a breather on the valve cover instead of the tube running to the intake?

 

welcome to the forum. see if you have a fast idle thermo valve on the bottom of the throttle body. you may need to move your intake to see it. it has a couple of small hoses hook up to it. it may be going bad. ( if you have one)

 

is that another clip in by the manifold? cuz ive seen another sensor that goes into the tb and i checked the connections but ill try doin that and see if thats the problem
