A/C Compressor Turning On and Off
what causes an A/C compressor to turn on and off at low rpms???

Depends on how often it goes off and on. if it cycles close togeather, the freon may be low. if it cycles far apart like 30 sec interval, it is normal. Newer model a/c units do not stay on consistant, all cycle for economy running
