Default Cranks but will not start. What next?

About two years ago my girl was driving my 1996 civic died on the side if the road. The clutch was going but she was new to sticks. I knew the radiator was leaking and it leaked oil. I show up and check the car. I replaced the radiatoran filled it up. Check the oil an was really low. Filled it up. Started the engine up and ran fine but put it in gear and did not move. About year later change out the clutch and try to start it an will not start. Put a new battery in it and still nothing. So about 2 years later I look at it agsin. I make sure the gas pump is working. I check the coil and its working good. Check the spark at the end of wire checks good. Put in new spark plugs and wires about 3 months before car died. Checked pulse on injector wires checks good. The last check I did was to check the oils cap to make sure the the rocker arm are moving to see if the timing belt are not broke. There was some smoke and smell of gas coming from the oil cap opening. What next to check??
