Detachable key fits perfectly but doesn't lock/unlock the car? (2019 Honda Pilot)
Hello! This is a weird issue so hoping someone can shed some light.
Not sure if it's common, but I detached the manual key from the electronic remote just to test out lock/unlocking the car manually.
It fits perfectly, but when turning the key both way nothing happen. Anyone know?

It sounds like the actuator is not connected properly.
Happened to my nephew's 2007 CRV.
Bought it like that. He tried to use the key and it did nothing.
Opened up the panel and stuck my hand inside
Felt for the actuator and something was hanging near by
It fit inside the the actuator. Tried the key again and it worked.
Must have popped out by itself.
The strange thing is the remote worked for the lock and unlock.
