I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey EX. The driver side front door no longer works with the keyless entry when all of the doors are locked. Furthermore, the power door lock doesn't work for the same door but locks all of the other doors. I have read that it could be the actuator and the shop said the same thing. They replaced it and nothing changed, although they claim it was dead anyway. Now they had some diagnostics and they claim it is the multiplexer which is under the dash they say.
I have been looking at the schematics and I don't see how this could be. To me it looks like it could be the power door lock.
Has anyone had this problem before?
Also, to boot, the window has trouble going up now after they took apart the door. It almost seems like there is resistance when going up. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

welcome to the forum. I have visited few other Odyssey sites and have come up with the same answer your dealer came up with. The other 2 04 Odysseys have the same situations, and they both said the dealer pointed to the multi plex. If you go to hondaautomotiveparts.com, there is a diagram of its location and cost. If you would like to varify the problem again with another person, eamil mag auto parts ( member on this forum ) and they will varify for you the problem and can give you a better price on the part

 

Let's hope they are right. The part costs about 130 everywhere. Do you know the exact name of the part or the System/Component that it belongs to? From what they say, the part is under the driver's side dash close to the emergency brake.
