My malfunction indicator light came on the other day, took it to the parts store and got the error code P0685. The light has been reset since I went (Sunday) and hasn't come back on yet. Should I wait for the light to come back on before I do anything? Please help

Thanks. It's back on again. How difficult is it to replace an ecm relay? Is this part something I can only get from a dealer?

 

It is not hard to replace the ecm . Go to hondaautomotiveparts.com and put your car info in. go to control unit cabin. Make sure it is the relay or ecm/pcm

 

I really appreciate your help, acmech. I've confirmed that it is for sure the ecm/pcm relay and I've ordered 2 of them. If you haven't figured it out, I'm no mechanic...the most I can do is change the oil and filter on my own. Can you tell me where the ecm/pcm relay goes? I looked at the diagram but couldn't figure it out.

I have this error on my 2005 Honda Pilot, P0685 ECM/PCM Power Relay -Open Circuit, Can i get help to solving this issue?
