Default engine swap or rebuild?

I HAVE A 96 ACCORD WITH A F22 BS 3/38/67 ENGINE.. i had my car for a few years and really havnt taken the best care of it. the car still drives real good but it has 150k on it. i was wondering if rebuilding it is worth it and if i do rebuiled it i would like to do what ever i can to get the most poewer out of it.

should i just swap another engine? if so what would be the best engine for my car? its a lx 4 door 5 speed.

Welcome to the forum, what makes you think you need a new engine, these motors have the ability if taken care of to last into the 300,000 mile and above range, make sure you change the timing belt and water pump do regular oil changes and tune that engine and let it roll.
