2001 CIVIC 5 speed Coupe. Instruments panel goes blank and gauges die when you start up car. While driving Instruments start working again then when it feels like it they go out again. There is no pattern just when ever it feels like it. Lights go out gauges die. Headlights, Radio, Windows work great never die. Removed instrument cluster cleaned Plugs no help?????? Wire trouble or Gauge Cluster?

 

Welcome to the forum,although you checked your plugs,check your harness for shorts ,that is what it sounds like to me also,check fuse number 2 in the fuse box -15A FIECU. I would replace it,I have seen fuses look OK and still work off and on.

 

Fuse Box under hood or in dash? Will replace fuse just in case. Trying to chase wires unable to find lose ground or break in wire. Instrument Cluster reliable? a gauge or light might go out but intermitent sounds more like a wire trouble to me.
