Fender lays right on top :(
so i recently got 17 inch enkie rims from a friend i have a 98 honda civic on skunk2 lowering springs.....so i went to a tire store and put on some 215/45 lowprofile tires and went to put them on my car....but when i lowered my jack i found out the top of the fender was laying right on top of my tire....couldnt even fit a finger
.....so im woundering if there is anyway to make it work for me?!?!? was think of putting slimmer tires like 205's but idk if that would help or what...hes my tire when i lowered the jack
the finder is completely on top of the tire

Welcome to the forum, other than raising the car back up if you went to a 205x40x14 that would give you 1.1 inches of difference. That is not enough to make a big enough change .Here is a tire size calculator http://www.miata.net/cgi-bin/tirescgi Good luck,Bobby
break out a beer coozie and some pliers and start rolling them fenders.. i was in your same boat.. only basically 2 options.. roll the fenders or raise the car up an inch ( if it has adjustable coilovers it will be easy) if not get ready to spend about 400$.. to be honest id go with rolling the fenders.. just pulling them out half an inch (if done right) will give the car a little accent that people will notice but not be able to put their finger on it.
