hi, im new to here and this is my first honda. Can someone tell me what is this hole? Is this hole part of the water pump because coolant is leaking from there when i start the car. If i replace the waterpump will that solve the leaking coolant coming from that hole? thank you in advance.

water pump holes is designed to let water out when seals fails inside the pump. It is no fun when water pump suddenly burst when ball bearings went out. It allow u to find safe place to park or drive to garage.
