Honda Accord Instrument Cluster Question!
Hello, I had this question for some time being, but I figure this would be the best place to get the answer to my question.
I have a 2000 ex v6 4d accord. I want to remove my instrument cluster and put in a new one. The original "black" face where the rpm, mph, etc. are, is a bit messed up. However, I understand that if you change the entire cluster, your mileage would change as well. My car currently have 120k miles on it. The new cluster I have has 0 miles on it.
Q: Is there a way for me to make it so that the new cluster will say 120k miles on it as well? without having to actually drive 120k miles?
Q: Can I remove the odometer part only, kind of like swapping that specific part out and putting it on my old instrument cluster so that I will have NEW instrument cluster, with old odometer reading?
I hope everything doesn't sound too confusing, but if it does, please let me know, I will clarify. Thanks
