Hi guys
Please advice , I have a 2009 Honda FR-V i-vtec 1.8 petrol I want to swap the engine in it for Honda 2.2 I-CTDI and there are few things I would like to find out , ok here it goess :
1. is it even possible ?
2. if yes is it going to be a straight swap ? if no what would have to be done?
3. do I nead to change the gearbox aswell or just the engine ?
4. what other parts will I nead to do this? except the engine and the ECU ofcourse
5. and finally it's extremly hard to find second hand 2.2 engine from an FR-V so do I have to get it from the same model or will the engine from the 2009 CR-V , Accord or Civic be the same sise and all?
