I have a 2008 accord ex 4cl 5spd in good shape, great car but I'm on my 4th clutch master cylinder in 2 years this is insane and there is tons of people that have had the issue of shearing off those cheap bolts that hold that lid on the gasket and then it dumps fluid out, pedals on the floor and it's another 4-500$ Was thinking that these master cylinders were just junk from pep boys and autozone but wait!!!!!honda forums along with the Honda manual are saying use Honda dot 3 brake fluid or dot 3 brake fluid which boils 60 degrees lower than dot 4!!has anyone ever thought that the over heating of the brake fluid causes like water vapor which could raise pressure and or create contamination in the system causing it to blow the weakest link...usually 1 of those cheap *** 1.77 bolts!
