installed after market radio lost dash light and rear running lights..

Angry installed after market radio lost dash light and rear running lights..
first of all I just bought my first civic (95)...great on gas...as u can see the user name...I installed a after market radio,the next morning I leave for work and I noticed I did not have dash lights..i get to work and a coworker tells me I have no rear running lights....I read some where this is a common problem..please need help
