On my 2006 Accord. The black light on the radio and a/c will not turn on when the head light are on. So when it is dark I cannot see the radio or a/c seetings.
Strange things is that when I turn off the head lights the black light will turn on. But of course I cannot drive without the head lights off.
Is there a setting or botton(s) I can use to adjust this. I use the dim switch that would adjust the dash light but no effect on the radio or a/c light.

welcome to the forum blau: enjoy your stay. Since your car is a 06 accord, would it still be under warranty? If so the dealer will fix it for no charge.I'll need to do some research on your radio light problem.

 

They tell me the car is not under warrenty any more because I have 38,000 miles on the car. I look like the warrenty ends at 36,000.

Anyways I am thinking it may be just an adjustment somewhere. I even called honda usa. they did not have an answer.
