Losing or burning oil

Default Losing or burning oil

we have a 2005 civic EX with the 1.7 v-tec motor, and have always changed oil every 5000 miles, all of a sudden were losing 1-2 qts. between oil changes with no visible leaks, or smoke at startup or cruiseing??????????Need help finding this problem. THANKS

just because its not blowing out smoke doesn't mean its not being burned. next time you change the oil use a heavier weight oil instead of using 5w20 use 5w30 preferably a full synthetic 5w30 so it keeps it's viscosity at normal operating temperature i recommend Mobile1 high mileage.
