i have a 92 prelude i recently bought and it has an f22b1 engine in it and the thing is eating up gas bad. When i hit about 4300 rpms it starts to bog out and has no power. The thing overall is a dog. Can anyone help me with this?

 

welcome to the forum. When was the last tune up done, and timing belt changed. Are there any mod's done to the engine.

 

no mods to the motor. it has new plugs and wired and a new o2 sensor. The EGR valve is unplugged and whenever i plug it in it opens the whole way and the motor starts to idle rough so who i bought it off of put a screw into it. I bought another EGR valve and it does the same thing. I have no idea what is wrong with this motor.
