About a week ago, before I left for school my accord started making a unusual rattleing noise that it's never made before. I kept restarting the car until finally it stopped. The next week It never happened again until this morning when it made the noise in park, when I drove and especially worse when I turned and tried to park. I put the car in park and turned the wheel and it made the noise sound even uglier. Funny thing is a few hours later when I left, my car didn't make the noise and in fact, sounded as smooth as ever. Im worried and would like to know what the problem could be. I appreciate any advice.

Thanks man. Im not sure if the boot is leaking but this morning the car didn't even start. Im getting it checked out soon so we'll see if you are right haha.

 

well i got it tested out and they replaced my battery but they don't know what the noise is or where it's coming from. They said since it made the noise in the morning both times that it could be the condensation from the cold in the belt. They reccomended that if it keeps happening I should replace my belt. Is this accurate?

 

i bet you its something simple like the heat shield around the header is loose and rattling or one of your exhaust hangers broke and the exhaust it hitting a heat shield under the car.

 

See if you can get it lifted and with it running listen underneath,it may just be exhaust as lowlife suggested.
