ya i got a 92 civic cx hatchback i've had a rough idle and found my problem its a hose was leaking but my piece? that it hooks up to isnt on any diagrams or nothing. it runs on the driver side of the fuel injectors and the hose exited out the exhaust to this it has a electronic plug and it runs to the fuel pump but for some reason no one knows what it is its live a valve of some kind or regulator i have no clue please help

 

Your discribing the fuel pressure regulator. sorta. are you sure it comes out of the exhaust?
