no lights?

hi I need some help with my del sol, i dotn have any lights and on my gauges too. my battery was dead so some one gave me a jump but they did something wrong and they connected the + to the - on their battery ... and it was like that for about 1 minute and the jumper cables started smoking.. i guess something burned but i dont know what.. it looks like all the fuses are ok.. can anybody tell me what else it could be? everything else is working its just the lights.. thanks

Recheck your fuses for the lights, do it with an ohm tester, some times a visual is not clear. Also trace your head light wires for good ground and connection.
