I have a 97 civic with no tail lights or front marker lights, when i replace the fuse under the dash and turn my lights on it blows right away, ive checked all bulbs and traced all wireing, i cant find a problem anywhere!! Any advice would be greatley appreciated

 

welcome to the forum. You definately have a short. The fuse burns to prevent the line from burning. Some where in your wire loom you have a bad or shorted wire.Don't put a bigger fuse in, you will smell the line burn then you'll see where the short is the bad way. Try getting a wire schematic to see if it will help. Library or ebay cd, or view the web sites and may locate one for your car.

 

Have you istalled a stereo or something similar lately? I had the same problem with my 03 Civic and it turned out to be that a wire was damaged when the stereo was put in resulting in a short. Check it out and good luck.
