Default No low end power

My '94 Delsol SI (275K mi.) has NO low end power.
When i step on the gas after a stop it seems to just creep up to speed.
I can floor the pedal and it behaves the same. Gets scary when crossing busy traffic!
When I get up to about 25mph it starts to pick up rapidly.
No problem accelerating once I'm moving.
I've tried nothing yet.
Where should I start?

You didn't say if auto or stick,If stick it could have a slipping clutch, replace your fuel filter if that doesen't help have your fuel pump checked.

I forgot to mention it only happens when the motor is hot. Auto trans. ( does not over rev when it happens) Fuel filter is new. Tune up about 15K ago.

Sounds like a vapor restriction of some type, where the fuel is heated to the point of vaporization, check to see if a fuel line is close to an exhaust manifold maybe.

I'll check that out.
Went to replace rear pads tonight and on turning the left piston in, the dang thing started leaking. 2 calipers coming tomorrow. It's always something!
