Default No start, No Spark 92 Accord. Advice?

Hello everyone. I'm new to the site and I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I pulled the head on my 92 Accord EX to troubleshoot a rough idle. Found an exhaust valve with a hole in it and had it replaced. Reassembled the engine, replacing all the gaskets along the way and making sure all electrical connectors were reattached.

After reassembling the engine would not start. I checked and found that I had no spark. The ignition coil and igniter didn't pass the checks in my manual so I replaced the distributor and ignition coil tower. The wires are only a few months old, the spark plugs are brand new and the ignition coil receives battery voltage at its three pin connector. I suspect the main relay but I don't want to replace another expensive electrical/electronic component without asking someone else.

Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forum. since your engine was dissasembled, check your timing belt to the proper marks on the cam and crank. also some distributors if aftermarket have problems from the overhaul shop. tend to use, used parts to overhaul.

Default relay

I replaced the relay, no dice. I sent it to a mechanic, they say the ECU has water damage and they are gonna swap in a known good one to determine if that's the issue.

If it makes that much noise it may have some teeth missing, change out the starter for a gear reduction model.
