Default Odd vibration in front end - '04 Civic

I have a vibration coming from what feels like the right front end. It occurs at 36-42 MPH and is independent of road surface condition or straight or rounding a curve. If I accelerate through, it stops. If I take my foot off the accelerator, it stops. If I shift into neutral, it stops. This isn't a rattle of a small light part. Its a "heavy" sound. Although I can feel it through the steering wheel, there is no shimmy. If I'm careful and hold speed while its happening it continues. Also, it doesn't happen every time. My mechanic says everything looks good but, clearly, something is out of whack. Motor mount? Axle issue? CV joint (boots look good)?

I'll have the mechanic take a look. Mileage is 150,000 so I guess that qualifies. Thanks.
