hi guys the other day i was driving, (normal all day, no high revs until now) and i floored it off a light, my red line is 8250 and i brought it up to 8, then when i shifted my car jerked 4 times and now when i start my car the revs bounces from 100-1200 right away for ab out 5 seconds then go back to normal, and now when i look under my hood i find this oil, im not sure the problem with my motor can anyone help?

 

welcome to the forum. need to clean old oil off the cover than recheck for oil leak. may be the cam end cap o ring leaking. not sure on revs bouncing, has the engine gone back to normal running.

 

Welcome in,try to tighten any loose bolts,clean engine and check again for the leak. The revving could be a vacuum leak or the Idle Air Control.
