Hi, we have a 2001 Honda Civic DX. When we release the parking brake we sometimes hear acontinuous noise from under the front dash (without even moving the car). Does anyone know what this may be?

according to honda dealer, 01, some 02 civics had loose items in the dash area. They found loose nuts or bolts. It may be difficult to find what it is, try to make a list of when you hear it, beside release of the brakes. Radio on off, a/c on or off, fan on or off, etc. This may help to find the noise.
