pulsing headlights

Question pulsing headlights

my name is ty and i have a 96 civic ex. im on the third motor unfortunetly. just after the last motor was installed i lost my speedometer and at night when i turn on my headlights they pulse and so do my dash lights. when this happened i had changed my speedometer twice and had it diagnosted as well. if anybody has any way to solve these issuse it would be alot of help. thanks

welcome to the forum. Have your Alternator and regulator checked ( might be combined) Also check all your ground wires in the eng compartment.

i have replaced the alternator once already but will check ground wires.

was told to replace fuse box and did worked fine for about a mile. then the #15 fuse popped its labeled alternator, sp sensor. looked it up on alldata and says first and second o2 sensors are also run through that fuse along with the speed sensor have replaced the speed sensor a couple times still doesnt work alternator checked out fine the o2 sensor is fairly new. could it be a wiring issue and why would it work fine for a little while then quit, also during the summer when its warm out the speedometer sometimes kicks on and works fine.
