I have a 1990 accord lx auto. When I step on the gas the rpms stick at 2 grand n are late to pick up. Also my car randomly bogged out n the gas wouldnt respond at all. I stepped on it n the rpms went to maybe 600 then he car choked itself out. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

 

welcome to the forum. check the condition of the following, spark plugs, plug wiring, fuel filter, fuel inj, fuel inj rail pressure, compresion check, egr valve, distributor condition, idle cut off, throttle cable, throttle body control.
