Default Spring and strut issue - 92 accord manual

Just a few days ago I replaced my springs and struts. I've done this a few times before on my own cars and my friends cars so I'm not new to the process and as far as installation goes was done correctly. I had a pair of kyb gr2's laying around (for no real reason at all) and I just bought a set of H&R lowering springs (1.5" drop in the rear and 1.75" drop in the front). The mounts I'm using are stock mounts and all the parts are there, but the back springs are a little slim for the mounts and don't fit exact, causing them to move a little and make non pleasant banging sounds when i go over any bump. The ride is great ... the spring moving and banging noise not so great. Anybody have any ideas? I've been looking but haven't found if they sell a slimmer mount that will still fit the frame of the car. Thanks.

are there any type of foam or rubber spacer you can install inbetween the spring and strut to stop the banging back and forth.

I haven't checked that but I will. I'm a little iffy that it might not stay once a good bump is hit being the spring bounces around to begin with ... unless i glue it on. Even so, think I should be concerned that my spring shifts in the first place?
