I have an '01 Honda Civic. Recently I had to remove the front passenger seat to accommodate a large package. In removing the seat, I had to disconnect what I assume is part of the wiring for the SRS system. When I re-installed the seat, I THOUGHT I reconnected the wires correctly (by joining the two plastic clips). However, now the SRS warning light stays on. Is this the kind of problem that needs the attention of an expert? (BTW, the owner's manual--which I read after the fact--says, in effect, "Don't mess with SRS wiring!") I should add that I disconnected the battery before disconnecting the wiring.

I will value and appreciate your counsel.

as far as my opinion is asked yes you should go and consult the experts as any kind of odd thing happening to your vehicle is not a good sign.
