My thermostat needs to be replaced and when I took it to auto zone to get a new one they can't match it to any used on a Honda. I guess the guy I bought my car from did an engine swap and did not inform me. I have a 98 Honda accord. Please help! This girl has no idea where to start.

welcome to the forum. Go to hondaautomotiveparts.com and enter the information on your honda. and you may be able to see what part you need. if the engine has been swapped, get the engine ID located just below the exhaust manifold (sitting in the drivers seat) the right side of the engine block. or looking at the engine standing in front of the hood, the left side of the block just under the exhaust manifold. there is a flat smooth square with the eng id.
