Default Torque converter clutch solenoid circuit

Check engine light came on in my 96 Honda Accord, which has the 2.2l non-vtec, scanned the code, P0740 was for a torque converter clutch solenoid circuit. Was wondering if it was something that I should be worried about. Also didn't know if the solenoid was inside the transmission or outside. Was planning on changing the transmission filter here in the next couple of days. Cleared the code hasn't come back since.

The solenoid is inside but easy to get to while you are in there.
You may want to verify the solenoid is bad. You should take a resistance reading of it.
Does the vehicle ever stall when coming to a stop or when putting into gear?
