I have a 1990 Honda Accord LX for the last couple years and just today i noticed a little switch by my hood release. After running multiple tests i still haven’t figured out what it does. Any ideas?

 

Welcome to the forum. That is not a factory stock switch. Only thought I have would be a kill switch to help prevent theft. Or magnetic hood latch. Or tail light kill so no one behind can see the car while driving. Or aux radio amp switch. Alarm switch. Take the side panel off and see if you can trace the wires.
